Kian Raiszadeh, MD

Dr. Kian Raiszadeh, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon based in San Diego, California, with fellowship training in sports medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego, School of Medicine in 2002, completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and went on to a sports medicine fellowship with the Kaiser Permanente Orthopaedic Department in San Diego.

He has practiced orthopaedic surgery since 2008, beginning at Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center as an orthopaedic surgeon on the sports medicine faculty and as Physician in Charge in San Marcos. He currently treats orthopaedic trauma at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, and is the founder of SpineZone Medical Fitness.

Dr. Raiszadeh is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and performs medical-legal evaluations with Spectrum Medical Evaluators. He has published and presented widely on patellofemoral instability, knee and shoulder reconstruction, and the management of postoperative spinal infection, including work in The Journal of Knee Surgery and the AAOS Orthopaedic Knowledge Update series.
